MORRISTOWN --- Less than two weeks into the 2009 bear hunting season, hunters have already reported the harvest of 187 bears in East Tennessee, according to the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency (TWRA).
NASHVILLE --- A Beyond Becoming an Outdoors-Woman Muzzleloader Workshop will be sponsored by the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency (TWRA) Nov. 6-8 at a private farm in Humphreys County.

NASHVILLE --- The Tennessee Wildlife Resources Commission will vote on the proposed 2010 sportfishing regulations at its October meeting. The Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency (TWRA) Fisheries Division made its initial proposals for 2010 at the August meeting of the TWRC which was held at Paris Landing State Park.
NASHVILLE --- Youth between the ages of 10-15, who are hunter safety certified and who have never harvested a deer, are eligible to win a special hunt for the opening day of the Tennessee’s Young Sportsman Deer Hunt on Oct. 31, the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency has announced.
