NASHVILLE – The arrest of two people named in Putnam County indictments brings to 1,000 the total number of people charged with TennCare fraud since the Office of Inspector General (OIG) was formed and given authority to pursue fraud cases.

NASHVILLE – A Sequatchie County woman has been charged for the third time with TennCare fraud involving prescription drugs.

NASHVILLE – Two people from Sumner County – a male and female - have been charged with TennCare fraud involving prescription painkillers. 

NASHVILLE – A Rutherford County man has been indicted for TennCare fraud involving “doctor shopping,” or using TennCare to go to multiple doctors in a short time period to obtain controlled substances.

NASHVILLE – Three Davidson County residents are charged with TennCare fraud involving prescription drugs.

The Office of Inspector General (OIG) today announced the arrest of Latricia R. Hickman, 31, Kristen Abrams, 25, both of Antioch, and Taryn R. McDonald, 24, of Nashville.  

NASHVILLE – A Rutherford County man charged with TennCare fraud has been ordered to serve time in prison for his conviction on fraud and related charges.

NASHVILLE – A McMinn County woman is charged with TennCare fraud in a multi-agency police investigation centering in Meigs County. 

The Office of Inspector General (OIG) today announced the arrest, which was the result of an undercover investigation involving multiple police agencies and netted the arrest of 25 others for drug charges not related to TennCare fraud.
