NASHVILLE – A Montgomery County woman has been charged in Stewart County with 24-counts of using TennCare to obtain a controlled substance by fraud.

NASHVILLE – A Knox County woman is charged with TennCare fraud for allegedly lying to the state to obtain TennCare healthcare insurance benefits.

The Office of Inspector General (OIG) today announced the arrest of Rhonda L. Meadows, 29, of Knoxville.  Her arrest was assisted by the Knoxville Police Department and the Knox County Sheriff’s Office.

NASHVILLE – A Sumner County man is charged with TennCare fraud for selling prescription drugs paid for by TennCare.

NASHVILLE – A Blount County woman is charged in Sevier County with TennCare fraud involving “doctor shopping,” or using TennCare to visit multiple doctors in a short time period to obtain prescriptions for a controlled substance.

NASHVILLE – TennCare fraud charges are lodged against three people in Carroll County in connection with an undercover investigation of people illegally selling prescription drugs which had been paid for with TennCare benefits.

NASHVILLE – Two people in Putnam County are charged with TennCare fraud in a grand jury indictment accusing them of selling prescription drugs paid for by TennCare.

NASHVILLE – Three Hardin County residents are charged with TennCare fraud in connection with selling prescription drugs paid for by TennCare.

NASHVILLE – TennCare fraud charges are lodged against three people in Wayne County, including a husband and wife, involving the sale of prescription drugs paid for by TennCare.  The arrests were the result of work by the Office of Inspector General (OIG) and the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office.

NASHVILLE – A Sevier County woman has been arrested for attempting to use TennCare to fill a forged prescription.
