Grainger County Woman Pleads Guilty To TennCare Fraud

NASHVILLE – A Grainger County woman has been sentenced after pleading guilty to TennCare fraud.

The Office of Inspector General (OIG) today announced that Connie L. Chamberlain, 35, of Luttrell, pleaded guilty to one felony count of TennCare fraud, one count of attempting to obtain a controlled substance by fraud and one count of simple possession of a Schedule III (three) controlled substance.

Montgomery County Woman Charged with TennCare Fraud

NASHVILLE – A Montgomery County woman is accused of lying to the state in order to obtain health care insurance benefits through TennCare.

 

The Office of Inspector General (OIG) and the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office today announced the arrest of Rufina Santos, 27, of Clarksville. 

 

Two Washington County Residents Charged With TennCare Fraud

NASHVILLE – A man and woman from Washington County are each charged with TennCare fraud for attempting to use TennCare to pay for forged prescriptions.

The Office of Inspector General (OIG) today announced the arrest of Maria A. Grindstaff Tressler, 30, and James D. Blankenship, 51, both of Johnson City.  The arrests were assisted by the Washington County Sheriff’s Office.  

Montgomery County Woman Charged With TennCare Drug Fraud

NASHVILLE – A Montgomery County woman is accused of TennCare fraud for using TennCare benefits to pay for forged prescriptions for the addictive painkiller hydrocodone.

 

The Office of Inspector General (OIG), along with the 19th Judicial District Drug Task Force, today announced the arrest of 34-year old Laurel D. Baggett of Clarksville. She was indicted on six counts of TennCare fraud and ten counts of obtaining a controlled substance by fraud.

 

Six In Coffee County Charged With TennCare Fraud

NASHVILLE – TennCare fraud charges are lodged today against six people in Coffee County in a roundup stemming from an undercover investigation targeting individuals selling prescription drugs.

Rhea County Woman Charged With TennCare Fraud

 

NASHVILLE – A Rhea County woman is charged with TennCare fraud for altering a prescription for pain medication and attempting to have TennCare pay for it.
